Vistuba Bangladesh Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join our growing technical team. If you have a strong background in textile chemistry, dye applications, and color matching, we want to hear from you!
Position Details
Role: Lab Assistant
Employment Status: Full-Time
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in a textile laboratory or dye house environment
Job Location: Dhaka
Salary: BDT 30,000 - 70,000 (Negotiable based on experience and skills)
Key Responsibilities:
Chemical Analysis: Conduct precise qualitative and quantitative testing and analysis of textile auxiliary chemicals to ensure quality and performance standards.
Shade Matching: Perform accurate fabric shade matching across a wide spectrum of dye classes, including Reactive Dyes, Disperse Dyes, Vat Dyes, Pigments, and Direct Dyes.
Lab Operations: Maintain laboratory equipment (including spectrophotometers and color-matching software), prepare dye baths, and ensure a clean, safe, and highly organized working environment.
Quality Control: Document lab trials accurately and assist the technical team in troubleshooting dyeing issues or developing new sustainable dye formulations.
What We Are Looking For:
At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Lab Assistant in the textile chemical, dyeing, or fabric manufacturing industry.
A Diploma or B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, Wet Processing, or a related field.
Deep practical knowledge of how different fabrics (cotton, polyester, blends) react to various dye classes.
A highly observant eye for color accuracy and detail.
